before summer begins

summer hasn't begun yet for me..oh yesh! it's 12 of July and i have been by the sea only once!

finally it begins with my holidays!!!

And that's tomorrow.. i'm flying to Netherlands.. so i can feel like summer! but what kind of summer will i experience to the north..? I don't really care! Having fun and being far away from the ordinary means summer to me!

Wednesday!

in the middle of the week..  going for a walk dowtown seems to be the best choice.. just carrying out my need to escape from the every-day's reality..
As i was walking down the Ifestou street at Monastiraki i saw this young lady..
short hair, a blue-jean skirt, a striped red white shirt and her bicycle of course..
i couldn't have lost the chance to take a picture of her secretly!

This image is like reeling off a story of the old glorious times of Athens and its people.

After meeting my friends we wandered to Thisio and then to Monastiraki again..
till we leaded up to a lovely bazaar with second-hand and vintage items..
jewellery, sunglasses, watches, decoration items, clothes and more..

We digged up lots of precious stuff and we refreshed happily our accessories wardrobe and style!

i read this quote and a few minutes ago i came across with a relevant blog post by Ioanna..!
so i couldn't help but wonder what about friends' role in my life.. what about lovers.. what about persons i haven't thank or even notice them..

i always had difficulty in keeping all my friends close..so i ended in the fact that friends come and go and we should keep only their wisdom and common mutual moments as a treasure!
Of course i have friends that are next to me constantly and permanently and we support each other and we spend time together solving 'problems' and having fun..
But it's really worth it when i find support from people i didn't expect..
During the last months two supergirls have pulled me back from the rabble lots of times..and have encouraged me when i was defeated by disappointment and extended bad temper..!
